I created a trailer for a Pele documentary. The intention was to build hype and excitement using simple techniques. For example, I used a wave warp effect to create a waving Brazilian flag. Brazilian drums and a Brazilian voice-over artist were used to add immersive authenticity.

This project uses 3d camera zoom-out and loads of images of Pele (converted into 3d layers). The camera movement travels through the images and transports the viewer through Pele’s life. I used sharp cuts and vibrant colors. Some of the transitions (like the linear wipe) look retro - a nod to the past epochs of Pele’s life.
